Young Female Playwright (dir. Pony Nicole Herauf, written by/starring Ellie Moon) follows 26-year-old Millie (Moon) as she lands a career-making debut as playwright. Celebration quickly turns to scrutiny after a press release describes her play as a "deeply personal story". Millie is sure that the dark, family-drama is a work of fiction; but her family is concerned, especially her Uncle Mark. Through bright lights, and dark comedy, Young Female Playwright asks who gets to tell what story, and what it costs for a woman to he believed.
